To
help ensure an efficient and comfortable relationship with our
prospective clients we have developed the following important product
information:
1. Wood - Grain variations are part
of the natural beauty of wood and should be expected. These are
especially evident with natural and light finishes. Knots and mineral
streaks in some woods are also normal and not considered "defects". It
should also expected that finishes will darken over time due to exposure
to ultraviolet light; this is especially evident with woods like cherry
and pine.
2. Multi-Step Finishes - These
finishes have become increasingly popular in recent years. An important
consideration concerning these finishes is that they are artistic hand
finishes and may vary from the showroom samples. This is normal and
should be expected.
3. Painted Finishes -
Painted cabinetry can be a beautiful and classic addition to your home.
Important to consider when choosing painted cabinets is the fact that
our extreme Low Country humidity changes will cause wood doors to
develop cracks in the paint where the stiles and rails of the doors are
joined. A good alternative to wood doors are medium or high-density
fiber board one piece doors with a routed panel detail.
4. Warranties
- Advanced Kitchen Designs is pleased to warrant our workmanship for a
period of one year. Cabinetry is subject to Manufacturer’s warranty.
Please consult with your sales person on specific warranties on the
products you are considering. All of us at Advanced Kitchen Designs look
forward to making your cabinetry buying experience as enjoyable and
efficient as possible.
